A Forest of Snow

Last week we had an awesome snowfall. Usually we have to wait until mid-February, but this year has been different. We even had a dusting of snow on Christmas eve. This snowfall was about 4 inches or so and just perfect for making snowmen and sledding. We also enjoyed snowcream. Yum. My friend and I spent some time in the woods admiring God's handiwork. The snow really brought out all the intricate designs of our Creator. It was gorgeous! Enjoy.

Winter Wonderland

Our first big snow of the season made for a great day. My children and I went sledding with several of our friends. It was exhausting to have to climb the hill over and over, but it was worth it. My friends daughter is the subject of this photo. It was her first time sledding and she could not get enough.
