Let's Hear it For the Boys

OK, so it has been a while since I have posted anything, but this week over at I Heart Faces, it is "Let's Hear it for the Boys" week. I had to post this one. My son is all boy. We have little lizards at our house called skinks. They are very cute when they are outside the house. Inside is another story. My son loves to catch them. Usually they immediately drop their tail, but not always. This one is only missing the tip of its tail. On this day my son caught this little fellow and carried him around forever. Of course I had to take their picture together. I think they make a cute pair.

Over My Head

This week at I Heart Faces the theme is "Over My Head". I wasn't sure I was going to enter this week, but as usual the theme got me thinking. Today we went to the zoo. A new exhibit there allows you to feed birds with seed on a stick. The kids loved it and I did to. The birds are just beautiful. My daughter was amazed when these stopped buy her stick for a bite to eat.

Fix it Friday

It's Friday again and her is another photo that needs fixing. I use Photoshop Elements 8. This was a geat picture. Here is the original.

I use Coffeeshop's Baby Powder Room action first. Then I got rid of his boo boos with the healing brush. Then I ran Coffeeshop's Barista action. That's it.

I ♥ Faces Pets Only

This week at I ♥ Faces, the theme is Pets Only (or any animal). This spring we had a family of Mockingbirds hatch in a bush next to our porch. They were just the right height to sneak a peek and watch them grow. One day we opened the front door and found that all but one little baby was out of the nest. Of course, I grabbed the camera. The kids and I followed this little one all over. Mama Mockingbird didn't seem to be worried. He was a stature for the longest. Enjoy.

I ♥ Faces Sweet Dreams

This week over at I ♥ Faces the theme is Sweet Dreams. My entry was taken just a few months ago on our vacation to Florida. We had been on the beach all morning and were pooped. Everyone took a nap including my son. He was so out ou it that we couldn't get him awake. LOL He looked so peaceful.

Fall Photo Shoot

This year my friend Jane and I decided to let me do our school pix. So, we took a trip to the country to her mother's house and snapped these shots.
