Muddy Birthday Fun
My children's birthdays are 2 days apart so we have always had a combined birthday party. This year our theme was mud. Doesn't that sound great. We had plenty of it since it had rained for 2+ weeks straight before the party. People were contemplating building an ark. LOL Last year they ended up squirting each other with paint that was meant for paper and that gave me an idea. So, this year we cleared my garden spot and created a giant mud pit. It was a hit. Lots of mud. My garden will never be the same. After playing like pigs for a while, everyone had hot dogs and barbequed pot roast followed by cake and ice cream. Yummy. The weather was just perfect and everyone had a great time. I hope you enjoy the pictures.

That is too fun!!! My kids will be jealous that they have their birthdays in the winter and can't do this one! If you ever do it again, you should make mud cake too! My friend made it once and served in little sand pails with toy shovels to eat with and put gummy worms in it too. It looked way too real! But it was yummy. I think it's made with Oreo cookies. I'm sure you could find a recipe online.
What fun!!!
I wish I could have been there! :) Tell Bobbi and Tyler hi for me!
